The Marinnis Ocean is a large salty body of water on Elara. A component of the all-encompassing world ocean, it is connected in the north to the North Sea, to the Barimundi Ocean in the southwest, the Great Sea in the southeast, and the Southern Ocean in the south. The equator subdivides it into the North Marinnis Ocean and South Marinnis Ocean.
Geography[]
The Marinnis Ocean is bounded on the northwest by Phaara. In the northeast, it is bounded by Tellana. Its connection to the North Sea is obvious, but a definite boundary line is impossible due to lack of geographical landmarks. Normally the North Sea is said to start where the ice pack begins. To the southeast, the boundaries of the ocean proper are Anaea, and beyond that the Great Sea. In the southwest, it merges with the Barimundi Ocean south of Phaara, and surrounds the island continent of Atlona.
