Ardana was of the noblility of Koridan, being the son of Namtar who was a member of the Council of Three. He was a courter of Arysa. In 3258 KY Arysa became the second female Raman of Koridan, but the political situations between her country and the surrounding hostile nations soon escalated to war. Placed in a difficult position, and deeming herself not a strong enough nor capable enough leader, she deigned to marry Ardana in an effort to strengthen her country's leadership. Her decision was a purely political one, as she did not love Ardana. His upbringing and training proved Arysa's decision to be the correct one. Unfortunately, his reign as the 54th Emperor of Koridan lasted mere weeks, before he was assassinated by agents of Kayde who wanted Koridan weak so he could conquer it himself.
